Package Plants

From potable water production and sewage treatment to desalination and water purification, Veolia manufactures a complete range of plug-and-play containerised water treatment plants for municipalities or industry. Our package plants are used by companies in South Africa and Africa for industrial water treatment and municipalities make use of them at remote sites for water that their conventional infrastructure does not reach.

These modular systems take up less space than conventional water plants and contain very few moving parts. The result is an efficient, highly reliable and affordable potable water treatment plant or wastewater treatment plant with low maintenance requirements and low operating costs. Veolia provides the necessary chemicals for your application requirements.

Veolia is a world-leader in Water Techno Packages. Our package plants are available across South Africa and Africa.

Benefit Your Bottom Line

Cost-saving engineering, installation, operation and maintenance for all your water treatment needs:

  • Package Plants arrive on site almost ready to operate due to their plug-and-play functionality. This minimises installation time.
  • Water Techno Packages can be used in combination to form complete modular water treatment solutions. Our package plants are compact, modular, cost-effective and can be easily operated with minimal operational supervision and maintenance.
  • Our containerised Package Plants are easily transported to hard-to-access areas due to their compact, modular design. The robust technologies, ease of installation and commissioning makes these an ideal solution for deployment in Africa where cities and villages are widespread and there is a lack of comprehensive transport infrastructure.

Recently completed projects include a package drinking water plant in Zambia with a 2 500 m3 per day capacity and a sewage treatment plant in Pietermaritzburg for a population of 500.
